This workshop introduces language on mindfulness, why it's important for journalists and how mindfulness can help reduce stress. Journalists will learn the neuroscience behind mindfulness as well as tools to take with them to integrate in their daily lives in and out of the newsroom.

This workshop will teach about the stress cycle, how it relates to burnout and introduce language about how the nervous system works. You'll learn about The News Yogi's HUMAN method and tangible tools to help manage stress while working and how to unplug beyond the deadlines.

Regulating the Nervous System after Traumatic News Coverage
This trauma-senstive workshop dives deep into the science behind how bodies hold traumatic events, introduces journalists to the polyvagal theory and how movement and breath work can help regulate the nervous system to move out of fight- flight- freeze- fawn. This workshop includes movement practices to help integrate lessons.

Yoga for Journalists Workshop
This workshop focuses on Yoga movement for journalists. Sessions will a focus on stretching and moving into accessible poses to help release tension from places in the body that commonly hold stress. This practice can be done as chair yoga or full mat yoga virtually or in person. Class can be tailored to focus on slowing down or energizing. Sessions can be as short as 30 minutes to 90 minutes.

Managing Mindset and Imposter Syndrome Workshop
This workshop helps journalists with mindset work to help release limiting beliefs. Journalists will learn about subconscious thought work, how to shift their thoughts and take responsibility for their feelings, thoughts and emotions. Journalists will work with meditation and self-affirmations.

Goal-Setting Workshop
This workshop helps journalists step into their roles as leaders in journalism and beyond. Journalists will work on getting clarity in their goals and create tangible action plans to achieve their goals. This workshop will focus on practicing manifesting techniques to move closer to who you're meant to be and live a life you're in control of. Journalists will walk away with journaling prompts to integrate lessons.
